Therapy that helps things feel more manageable.
I’m Mitch Finnegan, an LCSW providing individual therapy for teenagers and adults. I work with people navigating ADHD and executive-functioning challenges, anxiety, emotional regulation, and the complicated transitions that come with growing up and building a life.
Get in touch
Practical, collaborative, and human.
Therapy doesn't have to be a worksheet factory, and it doesn't have to be entirely about talking in circles. I like finding a balance between understanding what's going on underneath the problem and figuring out what might actually help in everyday life.
I place a lot of value on collaboration and autonomy, especially with teenagers and young adults. You should feel like we're working together rather than like you're being told what you should be doing.
Who I work with
My practice includes high-school students, college students, young professionals, and adults. I’m particularly interested in working with people who are thoughtful and capable but feel frustrated by the gap between what they understand and what they can actually get themselves to do.
